A Trip Down Memory Lane

Coming back to my old room and Colorado in general usually inspires childhood memories. Well I stumbled upon this beauty while cleaning out my closet. I think that this is good solid proof that I should become an author. Let me present to you:
"Up In A Tree, What Do You See?"

I would like to also point out the awesome hippo's in the bathroom paper that I chose for the background of my first published book, I remember thinking how cool that was....and well now...

I took the tradition of most young authors and dedicated this book to my mom, I am sure she was so proud of this story, well maybe, but I know she pretended to be.

"Up in a tree, I see a bird!" OK, alright I am with me, there are a lot of birds in trees.

"Up in a tree, I see a flower!"...well yes I suppose there are some trees that have flowers...however, none that look like that flower, but I digress.

"Up in a tree, I see some grass!" Alright, well now I am starting to lose me here, there must have been some sort of strange circumstances involving the grass in the tree, maybe a tornado...

"Up in a tree, I saw a snowstorm!" Well, yes I suppose that you could see a snowstorm in a tree...not sure as to why you would want to sit in a tree during a snowstorm, but to each their own.

"Up in a tree, I see the letter J!" Hmmmm, no comment.

"Up in a tree, I see a nest!" Whew, thankfully, I am back on track now, a nest that makes sense, it even goes with the bird before.

"I see them all falling down!" Wowza, surprise ending, who saw that coming, not me and I even wrote it.

The End, well actually I seem to have written the end, which I am assuming means the same thing. My favourite part of this book is the about the author section, if you cannot read the print it says, "I really like people. I make lots of friends. I have a dog and a cat. I have some fish. I like to jump rope. I'm really good at that."

Well I hope you enjoyed this little walk down memory lane just as much as I did.
