This blog is an extension of the Obesity Epidemic blog. Just so you can have a progress report of how our apartment is going in becoming big fat fattys. Actually, the chocolate eating has been slow going and I would like to announce no significant weight gain from our apartment. Regardless some of the bunnies have had to go...
In order to not get too sick of chocolate we have tried to get creative in our forms of eating chocolate. The most recent occasion called for chocolate fondue, and in order to please the fondue gods we had to sacrifice two of our finest bunnies. That night we said goodbye to our snow white bunny and one of our brown chubby bunnies. Don't worry their loss was not in vain, it satisfied 7 hungry girls and was celebrated amongst delicious dipping treats.
Let me present the tale of the sacrificial bunnies:

Let me present the tale of the sacrificial bunnies:
Hello little bunnies, don't be scared I am not going to hurt you.....
....muahahahahahaha you have fallen for my trickery, and now it will be off with your head (insert sword like slicing noise, or light saber, depending on your sound effect preference)!
Don't worry little bunny this will not hurt one bit....
Or maybe it will (I am not sure if chocolate has feelings, one would assume not, however, I know that bunnies have feelings, so that begs the question; do bunnies have feelings even if they are made of chocolate?) But I digress, back to the point, the little chocolate bunnies are on their way to delicious heaven.

After the breaking of the bunnies this was proceeded by evil cackling by Cassi and myself as we stirred our pots (for better mental visual effect now would be the time to picture us in black point hats stirring our metal cauldrons with giant spoons murmuring something about, "bubble, bubble, toil and trouble.")
OK now I think it is time to pretend that I did not just sacrifice two cute little chocolate bunnies and then talk about them as if I was an evil plotting bunny murderer, lets instead try not to creeped out by me and enjoy the fondue. Mmmmmm yummmmm mmmmmm, among the delicious things we dipped into our melted bunnies, I mean fondue, was: cheesecake, strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, and pretzels. Yes, I know, my mouth is watering too. It was a great and delicious night, even though we had to have a moment of silence for our poor little sacrificial bunnies, they went for a good cause.
