It has been brought to my attention, several times, that I have not written a post in a few days (ahem...Papa, and Kim.) So, here goes and I shall try to write more regularly. The only problem with this is that I like to write when exciting things happen, and well to the unfortunate circumstances of my few readers, exciting things are not happening very often.
The other day Papa emailed me saying that in his msnbc.com news feed he saw one of my articles. This ensued my father and I looking for my articles on msnbc.com. I was a little weirded out that a news station would have access to my blog. I am pretty sure I only have a few readers. Alas, Greg helped us figure out that Granny joined my blog and therefore, subscribed to my rss feed, which feeds into Papa's news feed. So the bad news is, I am not famous yet, but the good news is that I no longer need to feel weirded out.
I am happy to report, that I have driven several times since my last post about driving. These driving events have been much less exciting than my original post. I am still having trouble with the space concept of having the car on the other side of me, but I am getting better. Also, I am happy to report that I have not tried to use the windshield wipers as the turn signal again, and I have remembered to put the car into gear before actually attempting to drive. Go me!
The food options here in Sydney are amazing, I have never seen such a variety of types of food to try at restaurants. On Saturday, James took me to this funky little African style food place. I am not sure where this type of food is from in Africa (since it is a rather large place, maybe Kim can enlighten us) but it was regardless very yummy. We shared some lamb skewers in a delicious tangy, spicy, sweet rub with a yogurt sauce. We also had a delicious chicken and sweet potato curry. The description of this item said (buzzard and potato curry) it went on to describe that the first time the chef sampled this dish that he was not certain whether or not he ate buzzard or chicken. The description also went on to assure us that their version of the dish did indeed contain chicken, and not buzzard, well I sure hope so. Plus, I am not sure where you would find buzzard around these parts.
Well that is all for now. I will try my best to write more tomorrow, or in your case the day after tomorrow ;)
